Academic Opportunities at GBS Global Applied Knowledge

GBS Global Applied Knowledge is currently seeking a dedicated Academic Lecturer in Global Management to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Global Management and a passion for teaching.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and guiding students through complex business theories and practices. A commitment to academic excellence and innovative teaching methods is essential.

We have achieved outstanding results in the National Student Survey, scoring above the sector average in all themes. We are seeking a full-time Lecturer to teach MSc Global Management and contribute to the development of our academic programs.

The role involves:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
  • Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate.
  • Managing and leading modules/units.
  • Keeping up to date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations.
  • Engaging and retaining students as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An honours degree in a relevant subject area and a Master's degree or equivalent.
  • A Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses.
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
  • Experience teaching in the wider subject area.
