Job Title: Lecturer in Global Management

GBS Global Applied Knowledge is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Global Management to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Global Management and a passion for teaching.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and guiding students through complex business theories and practices. A commitment to academic excellence and innovative teaching methods is essential.

We have achieved outstanding results in the National Student Survey, scoring above the sector average in all themes. We are currently seeking full-time and hourly paid Lecturers to teach MSc Global Management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
  • Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate.
  • Manage and lead modules/units.
  • Keep up to date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations.
  • Contribute to the decision-making process and develop productive working relationships within the team.

Requirements:

  • An honours degree in a relevant subject area and a Master's degree or equivalent.
  • A Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses.
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
  • Experience teaching in the wider subject area.
  • Experience with distance learning and supporting learners both online and face-to-face.
