Ocean Import Coordinator Role
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join our client's team. As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling all import operations for ocean freight, including customs entries and managing reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all import operations for ocean freight, including customs entries and managing reports.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients.
- Manage reports and provide clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities, and contract performance.
- Import documentation experience, including customs clearance via CDS.
Requirements
- Experience in ocean import working for a freight forwarder is essential.
- Sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities for ocean import.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
- Understanding of FCL & LCL and ability to handle ocean bookings into the UK.
