Therapist Role - Unique Educational Setting

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Therapist to join our team in a specialist school and college. The successful candidate will work closely with children and young people aged 6 to 25 who have diagnoses such as ASD, DLD, anxiety, speech, language and communication needs, dyspraxia, or dyslexia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Therapist to expand their professional skills and experience in a unique educational setting. As a member of our therapy team, you will play a key role in shaping the delivery of occupational therapy services and working collaboratively with education staff to support student needs.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To design and deliver individualised intervention plans for students with a range of learning needs and disabilities.
  2. To work closely with education staff to support student progress and well-being.
  3. To contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  4. To maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance processes.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role is term-time only, with a salary range of £28,407 to £34,581 per annum.
