We're seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join our construction team at Kier Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch a rewarding career in construction engineering.

As a Graduate Site Engineer, you will assist in the planning & coordination, design, quality controls and management of construction projects and on-site activities.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of project designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Assisting with setting out primary and secondary control datums.
  • Assisting with technical quality control checks, inspections and testing for compliance to standards.
  • Supporting the development of project schedules and budgets.

The graduate scheme will equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership.

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2025, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Must hold Full UK Drivers Licence.
