Job Summary

As a Construction Engineering Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, you will play a critical role in providing engineering support to military operations. Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, and executing construction projects, as well as maintaining and repairing existing infrastructure.

You will work as part of a team to ensure that military bases and facilities are well-maintained and functional, and that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to serving the Canadian Armed Forces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling
  • Maintain and repair existing infrastructure, including buildings, roads, and utilities
  • Lead teams of technicians and engineers to complete construction projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that construction projects meet military requirements
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for construction and infrastructure management
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or construction management
  • Experience in construction or infrastructure management
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead teams and make decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
