Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Kintore. As a key member of our stores team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely receipting of materials onto our computerized stock system. You'll also be responsible for picking projects as needed, preparing goods for shipping, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
About the Role:
- You'll safely load and unload lorries and vans, ensuring efficient material handling and adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Accurately verify material certifications against purchase orders and relevant standards.
- Precisely pick projects, issuing materials both physically and electronically as needed.
- Conduct daily cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy and promptly report any discrepancies.
- Participate in regular stocktaking activities to support inventory management.
- Assist with picking and packing materials for onward shipment according to company guidelines.
- Maintain general administration and uphold housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
Requirements:
- A General High School education or equivalent qualification is required.
- Previous experience as a Store Person will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with working in a manufacturing stores environment is desirable.
- A Forklift License is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
