Mechanical Project Engineer Opportunity

Key Role Summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our delivery team. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, procuring, and manufacturing solutions for global projects. You will work closely with customers and suppliers to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a small team of engineers from a technical perspective, delegating tasks and checking technical documentation.
  2. Develop and implement tactical and strategic solutions to support new Ocean Interface systems.
  3. Manage internal and external design reviews and meetings with customers, ensuring attention to detail and safety.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders on engineering solutions.
  5. Drive innovation to streamline and deliver submarines quicker while maintaining cost, quality, and safety.

Requirements

  1. Experience leading design-oriented tasks across a product lifecycle in production and/or prototype environments.
  2. Proven track record of presenting design concepts, technical reports, and specifications to stakeholders.
  3. Hands-on mechanical background or experience interpreting design plans.
  4. Degree-level education in a relevant engineering discipline.
  5. CEng or ability to attain.
  6. Defence experience or working within this sector.
