Mechanical Project Engineer Opportunity

Key Role Summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, procuring, and manufacturing solutions for global projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will:

  1. Lead a small team of engineers from a technical perspective, delegating tasks and checking technical documentation.
  2. Develop and implement tactical and strategic solutions to support new Ocean Interface systems.
  3. Manage internal and external design reviews and meetings with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of the complex design and safety requirements.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders on engineering solutions.
  5. Drive innovation to streamline and deliver submarines quicker while maintaining cost, quality, and safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience leading design-oriented tasks across a product lifecycle in a production and/or prototype environment.
  2. Proven ability to present design concepts, technical reports, and specifications to stakeholders.
  3. Hands-on mechanical experience or the ability to interpret design plans.
  4. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  5. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or ability to attain.
  6. Defence experience or working within this sector.
