Lunchtime Provision Coordinator: Leadership Role

About the Role
The Lunchtime Provision Coordinator will be responsible for leading a team of Lunchtime Staff in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, organize and supervise a team of Lunchtime Staff, working in close liaison with the OPAL Play Coordinator.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating high expectations, for all Lunchtime Staff.
- Ensure adequate supervision of children in all areas of the school building and grounds.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with parents/carers to inform them of any issues that arise over the lunchtime period.
- Liaise effectively with other members of the school team, including the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Good interpersonal skills – able to deal with a variety of people, including children sensitively, empathetically and when necessary, assertively.
- Ability to respond flexibly to changing demands.
- Good understanding and effective implementation of safeguarding procedures.
- Basic understanding of dietary needs and allergens.
