An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading care home service in the Northumberland area.

This care home provides residential care for individuals who require assistance with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care. Additionally, it offers nursing care to those with complex medical needs and nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of caring for individuals with dementia who may also have other long-term medical conditions.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
  • Developing well-structured care plans and detailed risk assessments, with a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and resident records while utilizing modern technology
  • Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Making timely decisions and taking action
  • Providing guidance and support to team members using your clinical skills
  • Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
  • Supporting, guiding, teaching, and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, adhering to its guidance at all times

  • Ability to lead a team of care staff
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care and supporting residents and their families
  • A team player who engages well with others
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards
  • Demonstration of an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role
  • Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment
