Job Title: Adult Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients and their families, working within the Telford and Wrekin adult community mental health service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver assessments and interventions in accordance with an agreed care plan to an identified group of people experiencing complex mental health-related difficulties.
  • Responsible for clinical and caseload supervision of other team members where identified.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Person Specification:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Adult Mental Health Practitioner who has:

  • Registered mental health nurse (NMC registration) or Occupational Therapist (HCPC registration) or Social Worker (Social Work England).
  • Post-registration experience, evidence of formal courses and training at diploma/degree level.
  • BSc degree in nursing or equivalent level.
  • Qualification in providing supervision/coaching.
  • Evidence of post-qualifying training - e.g., Non-medical Prescriber or psychological intervention qualification including EMDR, CBT, CBTp, Family Interventions, CAT, DBT, systemic training.
Experience:

We are looking for an experienced Adult Mental Health Practitioner who has:

  • Evidence of extensive post-registration experience working with adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
  • Experience of working with people who have difficulty in engaging with services and have complex mental health needs.
  • Experience of working in a community setting and making decisions autonomously.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check:
