Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist to join our developing and innovative integrated Community Mental Health Service.

The successful candidate will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for individuals presenting with complex mental health difficulties that significantly impact their daily life.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to patients and their families.
  • Supervise clinical and caseloads of other team members.
  • Develop and implement care plans for individuals with complex mental health needs.

Person Specification:
  • Registered mental health nurse (NMC registration) or Occupational Therapist (HCPC registration) or Social Worker (Social Work England).
  • Post-registration experience and evidence of formal courses and training.
  • BSc degree in nursing or equivalent level.
  • Qualification in providing supervision/coaching.
Experience:
  • Evidence of extensive post-registration experience working with adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
  • Experience of working with individuals who have difficulty engaging with services and have complex mental health needs.
  • Experience of working in a community setting and making decisions autonomously.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check:
