Technical Program Manager

Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a talented and commercially-minded Technical Program Manager to oversee the deployment readiness initiatives for innovative automation solutions within our fulfillment network expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist product engineers in the development of hardware automation technologies from initial concept through to Beta Exit Graduation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, achieve essential milestones, and deliver a comprehensive 'deployment readiness' package to Robotics Deployment teams.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance installation efficiency and reduce deployment costs.
  • Assess deliverables and provide constructive feedback to optimize deployment readiness for new technologies.
  • Develop and present KPIs and deployment strategies for large-scale installations on a global scale.

A Typical Day:

  • Evaluate the design of new automation technologies.
  • Produce key deliverables for large-scale deployment.
  • Monitor the installation process against established baseline KPIs.
  • Manage project risks and engage with key stakeholders.

About the Team:

The Deployment Readiness team is part of the Tech Deployment organization, tasked with certifying new technologies as 'ready for large-scale deployment'.

This team bridges the gap between product developers, deployment teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure the efficient installation of new robotics solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional programs and release timelines.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
