Robotics Automation Technical Support Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the Robotics Automation industry, Wynne Consulting ltd.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support on robots, including offline simulations, practical demonstrations of technology, and site programming to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain technical training for customers and the internal workforce.
- Support and drive all activities related to the delivery of the industrial robotics WorldSkills competition, including cycle planning, competition task development, production of relevant documentation, and competitor training.
- Offer professional support for products during shows and exhibitions, providing necessary support during preparation and execution.
- You will report to the Head of Technical for overall performance and may be required to travel within the UK and abroad.
- Perform any other related duties as required by the Head of Technical.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Formal qualifications and experience in electro-mechanical engineering.
- Experience in delivering technical training.
- Experience with programming robots within industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methods, environmental regulations, workplace safety, and employee/contractor supervision.
- Good problem analysis, resolution, and documentation skills.
- Be honest, flexible, and trustworthy with a high-quality work ethic.
- Be punctual and respectful.
SALARY
The company is offering a basic salary between GBP 45-47k, along with a company car, bonus, and overtime.
TRAVEL / LOCATION
This role is mainly office-based but requires some travel.
