We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £105,504 - £139,882 (pro-rata) depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist Psychiatrist involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to children and young people with mental health needs across Waltham Forest.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Working directly with children and young people and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participating in the on-call rota, with a frequency of 1:13 and a 3% on-call supplement

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Fully completed training as a specialist registrar in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Accreditation with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
