Job Overview
East London NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of professionals in the provision of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of young people with mental health disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
Person Specification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- MRCPsych parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
- Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register or CCT in appropriate specialty
- Experience of both CAMHS and learning disabilities
- Section 12 approved and Approved Clinician status
