About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk MI Analyst to join our team at OSB Group. As a key member of our Risk function, you will play a critical role in producing impactful analyses and enhancing reporting to support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce end-to-end MI identifying trends and changes in performance relating to Residential and Buy-to-let mortgages, Bridging Loans, and Asset Finance.
  • Enhance the existing reporting suite by proactively identifying opportunities to react to new and emerging trends or Management/Regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the credit risk team and senior management on portfolio composition, trends, and performance.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and deep dives on portfolio trends and market data to identify opportunities to improve our credit strategy and lending performance.
  • Ensure efficient use of internal data sources and external credit bureau data to monitor performance.
  • Take a leading role in critical Credit Risk analytical work streams such as Risk Appetite setting and monitoring.
  • Provide analytical support to the wider Risk function as required.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a Consumer Finance/Retail Banking Credit Risk function is essential.
  • Specialist knowledge of the Financial Services industry and Credit Risk Lifecycle is essential.
  • SAS/SQL coding knowledge is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/VBA are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
