Job Title: Flexible Bank Support Worker

About the Role

As a Flexible Bank Support Worker, you will be working on a casual basis, supporting our customers in a variety of services across the Cambridgeshire region. You will be working with a range of customers, from those with mental health needs to those experiencing homelessness. Your role will involve assisting customers with their daily living tasks, working through support plans, and helping them to achieve independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers with their daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Work with customers to develop and implement support plans, helping them to achieve their goals
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to customers, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that customers receive a high-quality service
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working in a variety of settings and with different customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a support worker role, preferably in a similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and with different customers
  • A positive and caring attitude, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals
