About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living skills, including cleaning, cooking, and personal care
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Assist with medication management and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Participate in community activities and outings to promote social inclusion
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service

Requirements

  • Passion for supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Manual handling skills and ability to lift and move individuals as required
