About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, complex needs, health needs, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals to promote their independence and daily living skills
  • Assist with personal care needs, including manual handling
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of our service users
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our service users
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
  • Passion for working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Manual handling training and experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
