About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Support Worker to join our team at Salutem Shared Services. As a College Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with long-term health conditions to access their learning and achieve their full potential.

Working directly with students in and around sessions, you will provide the care and support they need to thrive in a busy student community. You will work closely with teachers, tutors, and health professionals to extend learning into living and promote positive behaviors.

Our students are special school leavers with ambitious visions for fulfilling lives. They require support with personal care, and you will be responsible for providing this care with dignity and respect.

In return, you will enjoy seeing the students you work with become confident and independent adults, prepared for busy and fulfilling lives as graduates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with long-term health conditions in accessing their learning and achieving their full potential
  • Work directly with students in and around sessions to provide care and support
  • Collaborate with teachers, tutors, and health professionals to extend learning into living and promote positive behaviors
  • Provide personal care to students with dignity and respect
  • Contribute to creating a nurturing environment where students can lead fulfilling lives, free from fear, and in line with their needs and aspirations
