About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and support to help individuals achieve their recovery goals.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of substance use and mental health.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with Part 3 of the NMC Register.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
