About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

As a registered Mental Health Nurse, you will have a strong understanding of substance use and mental health problems, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Mental Health Nursing or a related field
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience of working with individuals experiencing substance use and mental health problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training
