About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance use and mental health issues.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for our clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Nursing or a relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
