About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Services. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and treatments to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in substance use and mental health.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Mental Health Nursing or a related field.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use issues and mental health concerns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches and technologies.
