Senior Event Coordinator

Tullie Museum is seeking an experienced professional to lead the commercial and events team, ensuring greater financial sustainability through event ticket sales, venue hire, admissions, and catering. This role will play a key part in developing and delivering our commercial events programme, alongside managing room bookings for meetings, conferences, celebrations, and weddings.
Purpose of the Role- Leverage commercial income, admission, and engagement targets through strategic event planning and execution.
- Deliver key initiatives of the Audience Development Plan, such as Travel Trade and Corporate Membership, with sponsorship opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all commercial aspects of projects or events are considered, exploring opportunities for enhanced visitor experiences and additional income generation.
- Create, manage, and develop a programme of commercial events, aligning with the audience development plan, while working closely with other departments for cohesive programming.
- Manage commercial room hires, conferences, and events, providing exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business and maximize income.
Estimated salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
