Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Behavioural Specialist in Learning Disabilities to join our Intensive Support Team (IST). As a Clinical Behavioural Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on behaviour support plans and strategies. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess the needs of service users, develop and implement behaviour support plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their carers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology or Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the relevant professional body. They will also have extensive experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including those with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide expert advice and guidance on behaviour support plans and strategies.
  • To work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess the needs of service users.
  • To develop and implement behaviour support plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
