Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Winchester. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide personalised support to students, promoting a love for learning and contributing to their academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in defining and achieving their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement tailored educational strategies.
  • Support students in managing daily responsibilities and tasks.
  • Provide emotional reinforcement and motivation.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate updates to instructors.
  • Deliver support within standard classroom environments.
  • Work with teachers to structure and prepare lessons.
  • Guide students through classroom and homework assignments.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in teaching or education.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
