1:1 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Winchester. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in promoting academic development and supporting students in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in setting and achieving academic objectives, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with educators to design and implement individualised educational strategies, ensuring students receive the best possible support.
  • Help students manage daily responsibilities and tasks, promoting independence and self-motivation.
  • Offer emotional support and motivation, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate updates to instructors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver support within standard classroom environments, adapting to the needs of students and educators.
  • Work closely with teachers to structure and prepare lessons, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Guide students through classroom and homework assignments, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in teaching or education, with a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Previous experience working within a school setting, with a proven track record of supporting students and educators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, educators, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and educators.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
