Civil Engineering Health & Safety Manager

A well-established company is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead their team on various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive occupational health and safety leadership to all staff levels, advising management teams, employees, and supply chain partners on compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and manage SHE strategies and the integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental management system (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 certified).
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategy, plan budgets, and monitor performance, leading the Safety, Health, and Environment team to ensure effective duty execution.
Salary and Benefits:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g., Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
  • Training in accident incident investigation techniques, including root cause analysis
  • Appropriate CSCS card
  • CMIOSH certification
  • Environmental awareness
  • Lead Auditor Qualification
  • Education and Training Award (e.g., PTLLS/CTLLS) or equivalent
  • First Aid at Work certification
