Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Therapy Team at Chase Farm Hospital. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team providing occupational therapy based on the Model of Human Occupation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating therapeutic groups and individual sessions, contributing to multidisciplinary team care planning, formulation, and risk assessment. You will work closely with the MDT to provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention as part of the acute clinical pathway.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be an active member of the multidisciplinary teams on the wards and contribute to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Facilitate a range of therapeutic groups and individual sessions.
  • Work closely with the MDT to provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent training or experience.
  • Training in specific activities relevant to client group (e.g., cooking, art/craft).
