Railway Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Systems Specialist to join our team at Charlton Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge railway systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, delivery, and operation of complex railway systems. They will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on railway systems-related scientific, technical, and engineering principles.

A competitive salary of £540,000 per year is offered for this role, which is commensurate with industry standards for Senior Command Control Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and leadership on railway systems-related scientific, technical, and engineering principles
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex technical problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality railway systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science)
  • At least 10 years of experience in railway systems engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of railway systems, including signalling, control, and communication systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
