About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Programme Manager to join our Projects and Change team at Southampton City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our transformation programme, which aims to balance our budget and create a sustainable council for the long term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage programmes across the council, ensuring successful delivery and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in programme management, with a track record of delivering successful projects and programmes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
