About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformational Programme Manager to lead and manage large-scale, transformational, and complex business and IT change programmes for Quilter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Delivery Portfolio Plan: Supports the Change delivery portfolio plan within the defined business unit/function, ensuring appropriate services and solutions are proposed, planned, and delivered in alignment with the defined Portfolio outcomes.
  • Programme Governance: Utilises best practices to ensure Change programmes are effectively defined, planned, resourced, and delivered in alignment with the overall business unit/function requirements.
  • Community of Practice: Inputs and actively participates in the Community of Practice to shape improved or new ways of working in relation to Change delivery.
  • Programme Delivery: Ensures programme delivery is aligned to and delivered in accordance with Quilter policy and standards, and Community of Practice guidelines.
  • Capacity Management: Prioritises and manages capacity of the Programme Delivery teams and sourced services to balance demand and efficiency and ensure the effective delivery of Change and Services.
Service Improvement and Change Delivery
  • Change Programme Leadership: Leads Change programmes for a specific business unit/function, working in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure delivery in line with agreed milestones, priorities, standards, and budget.
  • Programme Organisation: Defines programme organisation structures and resourcing models and plans the programme and approach, with consideration for the dependencies and constraints and in line with the agreed governance process, standards, and reporting.
  • Programme Delivery Management: Manages programme delivery, defining deliverables and milestones, documenting interdependencies and managing relationships with stakeholders to resolve issues and develop solutions to ensure successful programme outcomes.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Manages programme risks and issues ensuring that they are impact-assessed, mitigated, and escalated where appropriate.
  • Programme Performance Management: Manages and monitors the programme performance, progress against milestones, and appropriateness and quality of work, and where necessary takes corrective action.
  • Project Management Support: Works with project managers to ensure project plans are produced, actively maintained, of the appropriate detail, and consistently aligned to the programme plan.
  • Resource Development: Develops and coaches resources assigned to the programme, providing input into performance reviews and support to expand their capabilities and skillsets.
  • Programme Budget Management: Manages and monitors the programme budget providing appropriate guidance and decision making to the underlying projects.
  • Metrics and KPIs: Ensures the delivery of programmes and projects through clearly defined metrics and KPIs.

  • Qualifications: MSP qualified.
  • Experience: Evidence of equivalent experience in Financial Services (Desired).
  • Complex Change Delivery: Demonstrable experience of complex large-scale change delivery, preferably acquired within the Financial Services sector.
  • Project and Programme Delivery Methodologies: In-depth knowledge and demonstrable application of different project and programme delivery methodologies including Scaled Agile Programmes.
  • Virtual Team Management: Experience of managing 'Virtual' teams cross-function/cross-business and geographies.
  • IT Software Development Lifecycles: Strong knowledge of the IT Software Development Lifecycles, associated methodologies, and their practical application.
  • Facilitation Skills: Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Line and Matrix Management: Experienced in line and matrix management environment.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation, planning, and executive-level presentations.
