The RAF Youth Programme Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Working closely with YMCA Trinity Group and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, you'll deliver impactful youth support services that promote positive outcomes and well-being.

About the Position

In this dynamic role, you'll lead the development and implementation of youth work sessions, drawing on your expertise in social skills, emotional well-being, and personal growth. Your collaborative approach will foster strong relationships with children and young people, their families, and relevant stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging youth work sessions, incorporating interactive activities and games.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with RAF colleagues, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to programme evaluation and improvement, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Essential Requirements

To excel in this position, you'll need:

  • A Level 2 (or above) qualification in Youth Work or Play Work, or a willingness to undertake training.
  • Significant experience working with children and young people, preferably in a youth support context.
  • Expertise in safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Remuneration and Benefits

This is a sessional contract, operating at £23 per hour. You'll receive comprehensive training, mentoring, and ongoing support to ensure your success in this challenging yet rewarding role.
