Job Title: Digital Brand

At the Digital Preservation Coalition, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Digital Brand. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with our Global Head of Digital Preservation to develop and implement strategies for preserving and promoting our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development of digital preservation policies and procedures.
  2. Lead the ingest of born digital and digitized content, including workflows and processes for data from Unilever systems such as SharePoint.
  3. Oversee the digitization and migration of audio-visual material.
  4. Manage the day-to-day operations of our digital archive system, Preservica.
  5. Collaborate with vendors to ensure the effective management of digital preservation projects.
  6. Conduct regular audits and statistics for the Digital Preservation Senior Leadership Team.
  7. Supervise staff working on digital preservation projects.
  8. Represent the Digital Preservation Coalition within the digital preservation community and research best practices in digital preservation and collection digitization.
  9. Develop project and budget proposals for digital preservation and digitization initiatives.
  10. Conduct the annual DPC Rapid Assessment Model and NDSA Audit.
  11. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in digital preservation practices and ensure the use of efficient methods.
  12. Support the development of a public front-end for the Digital Preservation Coalition's digital archive.
  13. Advocate for digital preservation and build strong relationships between technical and non-technical colleagues.
