Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ritz Recruitment. As an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of student houses.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience completing repairs and maintenance in student or HMO housing, with expertise in internal and external painting. Some experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and decoration is also desirable.
Responsibilities include conducting periodic health and safety checks and property inspections, managing maintenance and third-party contractor work to a high standard, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks such as key delivery and aiding locked-out tenants.
You will also be required to perform basic seasonal garden maintenance and diagnose and troubleshoot broadband and TV issues. Proficiency in IOS on iPhone and iPad and experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential.
The company provides a competitive salary of £28,000 + Bonus, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, opportunities for additional training, uniform and PPE, a monthly food and drink allowance, and company events.
