About the Role

The Management Accountant role is a key position within our Financial Reporting Team, responsible for supporting the delivery of our statutory and management accounting service. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyse and prepare financial information, including detailed breakdowns of accruals, prepayments, deferred, and accrued income balances
  • Maintain and develop accurate and timely reports to support the production of management accounts
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Support the preparation of the year-end financial statements and the statutory audit
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in preparing and explaining accounting transactions, as well as experience of complex reconciliation of financial information. Advanced MS Excel skills and experience in using SUN and Proactis or similar accounting systems are also essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
