About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Brill Power. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with existing partners and contacts, creating new leads for potential customers and partners, and closing hardware and software sales in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • RFP & RFP Responses: Develop and negotiate quotes for customers, and create RFP & RFQ responses that showcase the technical benefits of our technology.
  • Technical Benefits: Engage with customers to help specify system requirements and outline the technical benefits of our technology.
  • Revenue Generation: Grow business revenue in line with business targets by closing sales with both new and repeat customers.
  • Accounts Management: Create and own CRM accounts for new leads and manage existing accounts, reporting on sales funnel progress using CRM tools.
  • Outreach: Represent Brill Power at conferences, trade shows, networking events, and other events via exhibitions, presentations, and general presence.
  • Market Feedback: Provide feedback to internal teams regarding customer and market insight, competition, pricing, and marketing opportunities.
Requirements
  • B2B Sales Skills: At least 5 years' experience developing and closing B2B sales in a technical environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and engaging communication of complex technical content in an accessible manner.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable communicating with customers on both a technical and commercial level.
  • Engagement: Ability to win people's interest, captivate their attention, and engage them in conversations about our business and technology.
  • Initiative: Ability to take initiative in identifying customer needs and communicating these effectively to other teams.
  • Technical Literacy: Good understanding of battery systems and controls, preferably within stationary energy storage or electric vehicles.
What We Offer
  • Salary based on experience, with a salary band of £60,000-£70,000.
  • 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
