About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive our sales efforts in the UK and European markets. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Sales Leadership: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring that sales and margin targets are consistently met.
- Market Expansion: Identify and cultivate new market sectors and applications to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge.
- Client Relationship Management: Engage with existing and potential clients to understand their needs, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and contributing to the company's long-term strategic goals.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven Sales Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, particularly with high-value capital equipment and services.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong technical acumen and a willingness to learn about micromachining technology.
- Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships, driving repeat business and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive and independent approach, with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline and operate autonomously.
- International Experience: Experience in managing international sales territories is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets (£600k Subcon, £400k systems).
- Accurate Sales Forecasting: Provide precise sales forecasts and maintain a strong prospect pipeline to support future growth.
