About the Role


We are seeking an experienced High Needs Support Specialist to join our team in Paisley. As a Complex Needs Practitioner Level 2, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours.



Job Summary


This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a calm and understanding nature. You will assist with daily living tasks, provide emotional support, and help individuals maintain relationships with family and friends.



Responsibilities



  • Assist with meal preparation, medication, and personal care
  • Support individuals with moving and handling
  • Provide emotional support and guidance on managing personal finances
  • Help individuals maintain relationships with family and friends


Requirements



  • Experience in a care setting
  • Knowledge of care plans
  • Empathetic and caring nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in using computers
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills


Working Conditions


You will be working in a dynamic and lively team that provides 24/7 tailored support. Shift patterns include 7:30am - 10pm, 8am - 9:30pm, sleepover shift from 8am until 8:15am the following day, and waking night from 9:30pm until 8:30am. This role is predominantly lone working.
