Support Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Support Practitioner to join our team in Paisley, supporting individuals with complex needs. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our service users.

About The Role

This is a full-time position, working 24/7 shifts, including sleepovers and waking nights. You will be responsible for providing tailored support to our service users, helping them maintain their independence and confidence. Your empathetic nature, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.

You will assist our service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication management, and personal care. Additionally, you will help them participate in activities, manage finances, and maintain relationships with family and friends. Our service users have diverse interests, and we encourage you to take an active interest in getting to know them.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in a care setting
  • Knowledge of care plans
  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in using computers
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes additional payment for sleepover shifts (£90.20).
