As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability across global markets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability across global markets, leveraging your expertise in event management and equestrian venue consultancy.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients, particularly in international markets, utilizing your strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of annual events, including the Royal Windsor Horse Show and the London International Horse Show, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Market Expansion: Drive the company's expansion into new markets, with a focus on the Far East, where events such as the Hong Kong International Horse Show are hosted, and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
  • Commercial Viability: Oversee the commercial imperatives of the company, including sponsorship, hospitality, retail units, and public admissions, maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of events and services, and maintaining a culture of excellence and innovation within the group.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance to meet financial goals, utilizing your strong financial management skills.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse, established, and well-respected team, maintaining and growing the culture of excellence and innovation within the group.


Requirements


  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role within a large event and venue management company or similar.
  • Strong strategic, commercial, and financial acumen, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience managing international operations and expansion, with a strong understanding of global markets and cultures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the board and senior management team, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Passion for delivering world-class events and services, with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
