About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and compassionate Chief Executive Officer to lead the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre in Chippewas of the Thames, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall health and performance of the organization, strategic planning, and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, healthcare providers, and government agencies
  • Oversee the delivery of quality health services, rooted in Indigenous values and traditions
  • Ensure the organization's financial sustainability and growth
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Health Administration, Social, or Business Studies, or an MBA
  • 5+ years of business management experience within a large organization, ideally in the health and wellness industries
  • Ability to undergo criminal record and vulnerable sector checks (CPIC)
  • Valid government-issued driver's license and a clean abstract
  • Up-to-date immunizations and records
  • Experience living in and/or working in an Indigenous community or organization
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, fiscal management, business finance, and capital funding
  • Sound understanding of risk management
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Teams
