About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager to lead our team of engineering technicians. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our warehouse and delivery network.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentorship and Leadership: Lead and support your team to ensure they work in a safe, efficient, and standard manner.
- Tech Expertise: Collaborate with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
- Safety Compliance: Support the implementation, recording, and auditing of safety and statutory compliance programs with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership.
- Equipment Availability: Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability to internal customers.
- Training Program: Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
- Project Management: Organize local projects or support EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
- Shift Work: Be prepared to work on shifts to maintain a strong connection with the team and daily work.
- A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), IEng, CEng, or ILM L4+ qualification.
- Relevant experience in a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment handling complex business processes.
- Experience in managing people in an engineering team.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediate proficiency in the local language.
- Experience with statutory regulations, compliance checks, machine safety protocols, automated equipment, data analysis tools, PLC-based control systems, project management, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
