Reliability and Maintenance Specialist

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the seamless performance of vital machinery. As an RME Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment availability and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Proactive maintenance tasks on site equipment
- Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
- Utilize the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
- Maintain all health and safety policies and practices
- Support apprentices' development and progression
You will work on-site to respond quickly to machinery issues, conducting planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely. Collaborate with senior colleagues on day-to-day tasks like painting and plumbing, and liaise with contractors when necessary.
Estimated Salary Range£55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- NVQ Level 3 or international equivalent in an engineering discipline
- Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
- Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
