At Creative Support, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team in Huddersfield. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, mental health support needs, and physical disabilities.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering personalized support, focusing on daily living tasks, personal care needs, and enabling individuals to access their local community. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to provide person-centered support, promoting independence, inclusion, wellbeing, and personal development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing respectful personal care, administering medication, and manual handling
  • Encouraging service users to engage in social activities within and outside their homes
  • Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families
  • Working flexible hours, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with the possibility of sleep-in shifts

Full training is provided, and you'll have the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
