About the RoleAs a Dementia Support Group Volunteer, you'll work closely with our experienced team to create a safe and welcoming environment for our participants.
- Establish trusting relationships with people with dementia, providing emotional support and companionship
- Assist with group activities, such as singing and other creative pursuits, promoting social interaction and engagement
- Collaborate with the session facilitator to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants
This rewarding role requires no prior experience or specific qualifications - just a willingness to listen, learn, and support individuals affected by dementia.
