Job Summary

This full-time position involves working as part of our Contracts and IP Services Team to support the accurate and timely execution of research and knowledge exchange contracts. You will advise and support academic staff throughout the contracting process, contribute to the broader understanding of contracting and IP matters, and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective contract management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the negotiation and drafting of research and knowledge exchange contracts
  • Provide advice and guidance to academic staff on contractual matters
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective contract management strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless contract execution and administration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in contract negotiation and a sound understanding of intellectual property matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and other software relevant to the role
